The Betsie River is most known for its Steelhead and Salmon fishing. The river itself has a mix of sand, gravel and clay bottoms, and the depths vary from long shallow flats to short, deep, cool holes for fish to hold in. The river is anywhere between 30 and 60 feet wide and is relatively easy to wade when using common sense.

I totally enjoyed my stay, lovely home and most of all lovely owner, she and her son made sure I had all my needs met and feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable. This place had a lot of charm and was very well kept. I picked this place at random and will certainly recommend it to anyone. To me it was a TRUE FIND and I will be booking again when I go back that way next year. -Tina
